Manage individual rehabilitation caseloads and coordinate services to support reintegration

Case Manager Opportunity

Christchurch Men's Prison (CMP) and Christchurch Women's Prison (CWP) are currently looking for case managers to join their dedicated and supportive team! As a case manager, you will provide specialist, end-to-end management of people serving sentences as they work through programs aimed at addressing rehabilitation and reintegration needs. These roles include all facets of case management from initial assessment, needs identification, case planning, and partnering with external agencies and the whānau of those in our care to support rehabilitation.

Case managers lead rehabilitation and reintegration by using a person-centric approach. By focusing on the wellbeing of the person, you will help reduce the chances of them returning to past behavior and help them to make better choices for the future.

At CWP, we've been working hard to better serve the unique needs of women. Our Women's Strategic Plan, Wāhine: E Rere Ana Ki te Pae Hou, sets the stage for a gender-specific, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach. Join us as we embark on a journey that positively impacts the women on site and our dedicated staff.

These are full-time, permanent positions, working Monday - Friday.
