Oversee the financial management for a major NZ infrastructure project from budgeting to reporting

Finance Manager

Join ACCIONA and be part of a team delivering one of New Zealand's most significant transport infrastructure projects. The Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono project will enhance connectivity, improve safety and support regional growth, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

As Finance Manager, you will manage the full finance function for this major project, reporting to the Finance Director. You will own financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and keep the project compliant with ACCIONA's financial controls and contractual requirements. You will work closely with commercial, project management and site teams, translating complex project data into clear insight that guides key decisions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage monthly financial reporting and analysis
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow models
  • Monitor project costs against contract and budget
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and policy
  • Partner with commercial and site teams on decisions
  • Support audits, insurance and tax requirements
  • Guide and develop finance team members

Required Skills and Competencies

  • CA, CPA or equivalent finance qualification
  • Experience in construction or infrastructure finance
  • Strong financial modelling and reporting skills
  • Sound knowledge of contract and cost management
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills

The project will initially be based in Auckland and then move to an office between Warkworth and Wellsford.
