Country Sales Manager Nz
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Country Sales Manager NZ to lead the New Zealand sales function for Toll Global Forwarding. Reporting to the Field Sales Senior Manager ANZ, this strategic leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the country sales strategy, driving sustainable revenue and profit growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and strengthening Toll's position in the market. You will play a key role in building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring commercial success across the New Zealand business.
A day in the life of a Country Sales Manager NZ at Toll Group
- Develop and execute the New Zealand sales strategy aligned to regional and global commercial objectives.
- Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing sales team to deliver exceptional results.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability and market penetration across key customer segments.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and operational teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee sales governance, CRM discipline, pipeline management and performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior sales leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success leading large sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of international and domestic logistics, including air, ocean and customs.
- Experience with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce, and advanced Microsoft Office capability.
