An ICG client is looking for a seasoned financial services executive looking for a new challenge and wanting to take on the founder/country head role for an exciting new property platform model about to be launched in Australia. Role Country CEO: Establish a brass plate office and local beach head to enable fast track replication of Australian success into the New Zealand market. The role will soon extend to hiring team members and liaising closely with Australian peers to contextualise the Australian business model to fit into New Zealand Key deliverables Establish a beachhead Engage with key industry stakeholders to build credibility and momentum Baseline NZ context and identify changes to the Australian platform required for success Skills and experience required Thorough knowledge of New Zealand Retail Financial Services (Lending and payments) and the residential property ownership lifecycle A recognised senior executive with established credibility with major Bank and property C-Suites/CEOs and known to the major regulatory entities Self-starter, problem solver –someone who can easily build and lead a team but also willing to get their hands dirty in the early phases. Can quickly build trust-based relationships with critical local stakeholders Can operate independently of the Australian mothership with modest support and supervision Medium level consulting skills (industry baseline, process mapping, PPT and EXCEL) Logistics Start: Immediate 3 month contract with transition to full time role for a successful candidate Location: Auckland Rates: The daily rate will be NZ $2,550 commensurate with the seniority of the position and will be paid during the initial three-month contract period.
