Install, service, and maintain fire sprinkler systems across Hawke’s Bay sites

Sprinkler Fitter

Chubb Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our Hawke's Bay team. Based in Napier, this role will see you working across a range of commercial and industrial sites delivering installation, servicing, maintenance, and minor works on wet and dry fire sprinkler systems.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll work both independently and alongside a supportive service and technical team to ensure fire protection systems remain safe, compliant, and operating reliably. Key Responsibilities:

  • Service wet fire protection systems in accordance with NZS 4541&NZS 4515 and Chubb Fire & Security procedures
  • Carry out inspections, testing, repairs, and minor works installations
  • Identify repair opportunities and assist with scoping and quoting recommended works
  • Work across a diverse range of customer sites including commercial and industrial environments
  • Deliver high-quality service while building strong relationships with customers
  • Participate in an after-hours call-out roster as required

About You

Essential:

  • NZQA New Zealand Certificate in Fixed Fire Protection Systems (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Current NZ Driver's Licence
  • New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience in a similar mobile service or maintenance role
  • Strong time management and route planning skills
  • Confidence communicating with clients onsite
  • Ability to complete service documentation and basic quotations
  • A high knowledge of fire sprinkler products/services and relevant industry standards
