The Opportunity: Reservations Agent

We are seeking a full-time Reservations Agent (40 hours per week) to join the team at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs.

In this role, you will be responsible for acting as the main point of contact for reservation-related inquiries (email, phone, and online), being familiar with each property, including features, unique services and local activities and experiences available, confirming reservations, modifications and cancellations, ensuring clear communication of information and handovers with the Front Office team, and presenting yourself to our discerning clientele in a manner that aligns with Rosewood's image and service delivery standards. Your natural warmth and professionalism will be key in creating heartfelt guest experiences and unforgettable stays.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience in reservations, or front office / reception experience in a 5-star hotel or lodge environment
  • Experience working with a Property Management system – ideally OPERA Cloud
  • An understanding of (and background in) luxury hospitality and / or tourism
  • A genuine passion for guest experience
  • A commitment to high standards of accuracy with excellent service
  • A friendly and professional telephone etiquette
  • The ability to uphold confidentiality and sensitive information, both on and off duty
  • Excellent communication and a team-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
