We  are seeking experienced Carpenters for opportunities across the Manawatu/ Wanganui Region. We’re looking for skilled tradespeople with experience in commercial, residential, civil or formwork construction.

You’ll be confident reading plans, measuring, cutting, framing, assembling and installing building components while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Relevant trade qualifications and proven carpentry experience are highly regarded.

The role

Depending on the project, duties may include:

  • Reading and interpreting plans

  • Measuring, cutting and assembling materials

  • Framing and structural carpentry

  • Formwork

  • Installing fixtures and building components

  • Commercial and/or residential construction

  • Completing work to required quality and safety standards

 

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' carpentry experience

  • Relevant trade qualification 

  • Experience in COMMERCIAL / RESIDENTIAL / CIVIL / FORMWORK

  • Ability to read plans and work independently

  • High standard of workmanship

  • Strong health and safety awareness

  • TOOLS / DRIVER LICENCE / OTHER REQUIREMENTS
