We’re looking for practical, reliable workers with hands-on building experience who can confidently use tools and assist with framing, formwork, material preparation and general carpentry.

You’ll bring strong safety awareness, a good work ethic and the ability to work effectively alongside qualified tradespeople.

Advanced Personnel is seeking experienced Hammerhands for construction opportunities across the Hawkes Bay Region.

 

The role

  • Assisting qualified Carpenters and other tradespeople

  • Measuring, cutting and preparing building materials

  • Assisting with framing, formwork and general carpentry

  • Using hand and power tools

  • Moving and preparing materials

  • Site preparation and clean-up

  • Following plans and instructions

  • Maintaining safe and tidy work areas

 

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' construction/Hammerhand experience

  • Good practical carpentry skills

  • Confident using hand and power tools

  • Residential, commercial or civil construction experience

  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

  • Strong health and safety awareness

  • Reliable and able to work effectively within a team

  • SITE SAFE / DRIVER LICENCE / OWN TOOLS
