The offered responsibility is associated with furniture moving and freight transport opeartions. The employee is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, unloading, and handling of household furniture, commercial goods, and general freight.

  • The position requires considerable physical effort, specialised moving experience, and the ability to handle valuable and fragile items with care to prevent damage during transportation.
  • The employee is required to operate Class 2 manual vehicles, plan delivery routes, secure loads in accordance with transport safety requirements and conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable transport, health and safety, and industry regulations.
  • The roles also involve direct interaction with customers, assessing site access requirements, coordinating delivery secdules, and resolving logistical iisues that may arise during transportation and moving operations.
  • the position requires a high degree of skill, responsibility and trust as the employee will be regularly entrusted with customers' personal belongings and commercial assests, often of substantial value.
  • Expected to exercise sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaing the company's reputation for professionalism and quality service.
  • The employee will play an important role in coordinating moving operations, supervising loading and unloading activities, ensuring furniture and freight are properly protected, and assisting other team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
