We are a professional Hair salon in Ravenswood, Woodend, Waimakariri, dedicated to providing high-quality hair design services. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hairdressers (2 positions) to join our friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

·       Consulting with clients to determine suitable hairstyles, cuts, colours, and treatments

·       Cutting, trimming, layering, shaping, and styling hair using a variety of techniques

·       Shampooing, conditioning, and treating hair and scalp

·       Applying colouring, bleaching, tinting, highlighting, and other chemical treatments

·       Straightening, perming, and performing other hair restructuring treatments

·       Shaving, trimming, and grooming beards and moustaches where required

·       Recommending hair care products and providing aftercare advice to clients

·       Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism

·       Cleaning and sanitising equipment, tools, and workstations

·       Assisting with general salon operations, including opening and closing procedures

Minimum Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

·       At least 2 years of verifiable, relevant work experience, or A relevant hairdressing qualification required

·       Experience in beauty therapy services will be an advantage

·       Good communication and customer-service skills

·       Sound knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling and Chemical treatments

Employment Details

·       Type of employment: Full-time, permanent

·       Guaranteed hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours depending on demand

·       Work schedule: Five days per week on a rostered basis (may include weekends and public holidays)

·       Pay rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
