Powercom Electrical Limited provides electrical and electronic system services for residential and commercial projects. Due to continued business growth and an increasing number of projects, we are seeking an organised and motivated Project Coordinator to support the planning, administration and delivery of our projects.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: A minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week
Pay Rate: NZD $30 to $35 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, work programmes and project documentation.
- Coordinate project activities between management, clients, technicians, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, resource requirements and outstanding actions.
- Arrange site visits, project meetings, deliveries and access requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project files, work orders, reports, meeting notes, correspondence and completion records.
- Assist with obtaining supplier quotations and coordinating the purchase and delivery of project materials and equipment.
- Maintain records of project costs, purchase orders, invoices and approved variations.
- Communicate with clients regarding project schedules, progress updates and administrative requirements.
- Identify scheduling, supply or coordination issues and report them to management promptly.
- Assist management with monitoring project budgets and comparing actual costs against project estimates.
- Support compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, health and safety processes and relevant project documentation requirements.
- Assist with project handover by ensuring that completion documents, warranties, manuals and client records are properly compiled.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to management as reasonably required.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A relevant diploma at NZQF Level 5 or above in project management, operations management, or at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Have no relevant criminal convictions.
- Hold a driver licence with a clean driving record.
