The Company

Our client based in Manukau is a well-established education and training provider, helping young New Zealanders gain practical skills, recognised qualifications and a pathway into further study or employment. They provide a supportive, practical learning environment designed to help students build confidence, develop real-world skills and take that important next step.

With strong demand for their programmes and three major student intakes each year, they are now looking for a motivated, sales-focused Enrolments Advisor to join their team.

The Opportunity

At its heart, this is a sales, engagement and conversion role. You will be working with prospective students who have already expressed an interest in studying, guiding them through the enrolment process and converting those enquiries into confirmed enrolments.

Most leads are generated through digital marketing campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, so there is already a level of interest. Your job is to connect with each prospective student, build rapport, understand what they are looking for and guide them through to enrolment and their first day.

There is also an opportunity to get out into the community, attend expos and build relationships with schools and other organisations that can introduce prospective students.

The Role:
Managing a busy pipeline of prospective students, you will take ownership of enquiries from initial contact through to completed enrolment.

You will:

  • Respond to new student enquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns.

  • Contact prospective students by phone, email and text, ensuring every lead is followed up thoroughly.

  • Engage with students to understand what they want to achieve & identify the programme best suited to them.

  • Qualify students based on eligibility, interest and commitment.

  • Book and conduct face-to-face enrolment appointments.

  • Convert enquiries into confirmed enrolments and work towards clearly defined intake targets.

  • Ensure students have completed the necessary documentation and are ready to start their programme.

  • Follow up enrolled students who don't arrive on their first day.

  • Maintain an accurate and organised sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM.

  • Complete all associated enrolment administration and documentation.

  • Maintain accurate student and enrolment records.

  • Attend school expos and community events and help develop relationships with potential referral partners.

  • Work closely with the wider team while maintaining clear ownership of your enrolment targets.

  • Ability to pick up the pace during peak enrolment times

About You:

We are looking for someone with a genuine sales mindset who also has the organisation and attention to detail needed to manage the administrative side of the role. You don't necessarily need to come from the education sector. You could currently be working in sales, recruitment, customer acquisition, internal sales or another target-driven customer environment.

What matters is that you know how to build rapport, follow up consistently and turn an enquiry into a result.

You will be someone who:

  • Enjoys working towards targets and achieving measurable results.

  • Is confident picking up the phone and engaging with prospective students.

  • Knows how to build rapport quickly and ask the right questions.

  • Has the resilience and persistence to follow up leads without becoming discouraged.

  • Can move efficiently from one opportunity to the next while maintaining excellent service.

  • Is organised and comfortable managing a busy pipeline of leads.

  • Has strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Is confident working with CRM systems and keeping accurate records.

  • Is reliable, dependable and takes ownership of their responsibilities.

  • Enjoys dealing with young people while understanding that the key focus of the role is getting them enrolled.

  • Will genuinely enjoy engaging with young people from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly Māori and Pasifika youth.

Most importantly, you will have the empathy and communication skills needed to connect with young people who may be making an important decision about their future.

What's In It for You?

  • $70K - $75K base salary

  • Commission – typically $10K - $12K pa for a solid performer

  • A steady flow of inbound enquiries to work with

  • Plenty of variety across sales, enrolment, administration and community engagement

  • The opportunity to work with young people and help them take an important step towards employment or further education

If you are someone who enjoys connecting with people, following up opportunities and getting results, this could be a great opportunity to secure a role that combines sales and relationship-building with the chance to make a genuine difference in young people's futures.
