Stones Electrical has been powering the Kāpiti Coast and greater Wellington region for over 40 years. What started as a one-person operation is now a 70+ strong team working across residential, commercial, industrial and solar — all built on one motto: Do it once, Do it right, Do it on time.

We're growing again, and we're not just looking for electricians — we're looking for good ones. The kind who take pride in a tidy board, back their own workmanship, and don't need to be told twice.

About the Role

With a strong pipeline of work across the region, we have openings across our commercial, residential/service and solar teams. Whether your strength is commercial fit-outs, service and maintenance, residential work or solar installs, there's a spot here that fits — and genuine variety if you like to mix it up.

Key Responsibilities

On the Tools:

•      Deliver quality electrical installations across commercial, residential and/or solar projects

•      Fault-find, service and maintain systems for our loyal client base

•      Produce work you'd happily put your own name to — because ours is on it too

•      Complete test results, certification and job documentation properly, first time

On the Team:

•      Work in well-supported crews with experienced supervisors and project managers

•      Help bring our apprentices through — we train the next generation and take it seriously

•      Look after our clients — friendly, professional and tidy on every site

•      Keep health & safety front of mind, every job, every day

What We're Looking For

•      Registered Electrician with a current NZ practising licence

•      Solid experience in commercial, residential, service or solar work (tell us your strengths)

•      High standards — quality workmanship isn't negotiable here

•      Reliable, self-managing and great with customers

•      A team player who mucks in and has a laugh along the way

•      Full NZ Driver's Licence
