Timescapes is looking for another product designer to join our small, but growing team of high-performers. We're after someone who approaches problems from first principles, honing in on underlying causes and diligently iterating towards the best solution. About the role

As our second full time designer at Timescapes, you'll be leading a key portion of our UX design and usability efforts. This will involve continuing to nurture our core product, while also developing concepts for potential new products. Key aspects of the role include:

• End to end design: leveraging a range of research techniques and design methods to understand customer problems, prototype ideas, and monitor the effectiveness of solutions throughout the product life cycle.
• Complex, AI-powered solutions: you'll be working on some of our hardest design problems, creating capabilities that don't exist elsewhere in the market. You're comfortable experimenting with novel design concepts, and working around ML / AI model limitations.
• AI-forward design and ideation: actively leveraging AI tools to augment your design process, and driving the adoption of AI workflows across the whole Product & Engineering team.
• Collaborative iteration: working closely with our customers, product managers and engineers from inception to delivery. You'll be experienced at soliciting design critiques and proactively bouncing ideas around.
• Looking ahead: in addition to addressing today's challenges, you'll also be thinking about the scalability of our design system and the future directions our products could take. You will ensure that our solutions remain simple and elegant as they expand, refining and trimming where required.
• Customer interaction: we believe that spending time in customers' environments is key to truly understanding their needs. Sometimes you'll be observing and absorbing, and other times you'll be leading usability sessions, focus groups and other solution testing.
