Machine Operator - Die Cutting & Foiling

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter and Foiling Machine Operator to join our team in Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for operating die cutting machinery, maintaining production efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Die Cutting machines, including Bobst 1060.
• Set up and run jobs according to production schedules.
• Assist with training.
• Perform general machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist with setup, loading, and operating as required.
• Comply with quality procedures.
• Carry out other general duties as required.
• Clear waste and maintain a clean work area. 
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the employer. 
• Comply with all health and safety procedures as defined by the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Comply with all employer policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

• At least 3 years of experience operating die-cutting machinery or working in a similar machine operator role.
• Ability to set up and operate die-cutting equipment.Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual production duties.
• Relevant industry training or certification is advantageous.

What We Offer

• Full-time, permanent employment.
• Guaranteed 30-36 hours per week.
• NZD $35.00 per hour.
• Overtime hours, where authorized, paid at the ordinary hourly rate.
