Carpenters Wanted – Wellington | 5 Full-Time Positions

Chang Yun Construction is an Auckland-based construction company. Due to ongoing business growth and upcoming construction projects in the Wellington region, we are currently looking for 5 experienced full-time Carpenters to join our team.

Location: Wellington Region
Number of Vacancies: 5
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Working Hours:  30 - 50 hours

The successful candidates will be involved in a range of residential or commercial construction projects and should be reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Responsibilities：
  Use building blueprints and diagrams to determine the proper dimensions, shape
  and design of a form structure
• Select and work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, concrete
  Build timber and concrete forms
• Use precise measurements to cut and assemble boards, timbers or plywood to
  the necessary size
• Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures
• Secure the form with nails, , screws or anchor rods.Once the form is secure, concrete is pouredbolts between the walls of the form. Theconcrete is moulded and shaped by the design of the form as it cures and Buildstairs, mantles, and furniture
• Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to
  ensure everything is level and secure
• Work on top of stilts, ladders, and the top beams of buildings

Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience; or
• Hold a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above; or
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
