Whitestone Contracting is establishing a dedicated civil division in Dunedin and is looking for a confident, commercially minded leader to drive it forward.
This is not a role focused solely on overseeing an existing operation. You will be responsible for building the division’s capability, developing its presence in the Dunedin market and creating the momentum needed for long-term success.
Supported by Whitestone’s senior leadership team, you will lead its people, projects, client relationships and commercial performance.
The opportunity:
You will take ownership of establishing and growing the civil division, from building the right team and securing resources through to maintaining strong project delivery and developing client relationships.
You will be visible across the operation: staying close to project teams, meeting with clients, identifying upcoming opportunities and addressing issues before they affect delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
This role requires someone who is comfortable taking the lead rather than waiting for direction. You will be confident building relationships, making decisions and turning opportunities into action.
You may currently be a Divisional Manager, Branch Manager, Contract Manager, Construction Manager or an experienced Project Manager ready to step into broader leadership.
