We have full time opportunity for Forklift Driver in Waikato. You will be required to work between Monday-Sunday for minimum 30 hours to maximum45 hours as per roster. We are a friendly team of dedicated people to provide outstanding services and products to society.

Role responsibilities

  • Operating equipment controls to position forklifts and adjust fork height for loading, unloading, and stacking items in warehouse and manufacturing plants.
  • Guiding rall-based or automated electronically guided forklifts to navigate narrow spaces and restricted aisles.
  • Moving merchandise to assigned storage zones within distribution centres, industrial sites, and cargo terminals.
  • Verifying that inventory is placed in appropriate locations to facilitate efficient retrieval and order fulfilment.
  • Observing equipment performance using instrument panels, gauges, and digital monitoring systems.
  • Conducting routine inspections and assessing machinery for signs of wear or defects.
  • Performing basic maintenance, servicing, and repairs on forklifts as needed.
  • Handles the transportation of bulk commodities, shipping containers, crated products, palletized loads, packaged goods, and compressed bales using a forklift.

 Job requirements

  • To be successful you must have at least 2 years of driving experience in relevant industry.
  • A clean driver licence of Class 1 or equivalent Licence is essential  with no history of traffic violations.
  • Hold a Forklift Operator Certificate.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to always follow safety guidelines.
  • Must be physically fit.
  • A positive attitude and great work ethic.
  • Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace.
  • Clean Character Background.
