As PrevenX continues to develop and deploy its technology across construction environments, we are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery of our technology projects.

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating PrevenX's ICT projects from initiation through to implementation and completion.

The position will manage projects involving AI-enabled safety systems, computer vision applications, edge-computing infrastructure, software platforms and related ICT integrations.

The ICT Project Manager will coordinate internal technical personnel, external technology providers, construction-sector clients and other project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, technical requirements, budgets, milestones, quality standards and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

ICT Project Planning and Management

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of ICT projects, including project initiation, requirements definition, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation and closure.
  • Analyse client and operational information requirements and work with technical personnel to determine appropriate ICT solutions and implementation approaches.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, implementation schedules and acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed ICT project plans covering project activities, dependencies, resources, budgets and delivery timeframes.
  • Establish appropriate project governance, reporting and documentation processes.
  • Monitor project performance against approved plans and take corrective action where required.

Technology Implementation and Integration

  • Coordinate the implementation and integration of PrevenX's AI-enabled construction safety technologies into client operating environments.
  • Manage ICT projects involving computer vision systems, AI-enabled applications, edge-computing devices, cloud services, network connectivity and associated software systems.
  • Coordinate technical requirements between AI, machine-learning, software, systems and deployment personnel.
  • Manage the selection, implementation and integration of appropriate ICT resources and technology solutions required for individual projects.
  • Coordinate system configuration, integration, testing, deployment and transition into operational use.
  • Ensure technical solutions and project outcomes meet agreed functional, performance and operational requirements.

Resource and Delivery Management

  • Determine project resource requirements and coordinate the allocation of internal and external technical resources.
  • Establish project priorities and coordinate tasks across multidisciplinary ICT project teams.
  • Manage project schedules, workloads, dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Coordinate the activities of engineers, developers, systems personnel, external suppliers, contractors and other technical specialists.
  • Monitor project expenditure and ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
  • Identify resource or delivery constraints and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Risk, Quality and Change Management

  • Identify, assess and manage technical, operational, scheduling and delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project risk, issue and change registers and ensure appropriate mitigation and escalation procedures are followed.
  • Assess proposed changes to project scope, technical requirements, schedules or resources and manage formal change-control processes.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for ICT project delivery.
  • Coordinate testing, technical validation and user acceptance activities before production deployment.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Act as the principal project contact between PrevenX, clients, technology partners, suppliers and internal project teams.
  • Work with construction-sector clients to understand business requirements, operational environments and technology implementation needs.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into structured ICT project requirements and deliverables.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide clear reporting on project status, milestones, risks, issues, budgets and upcoming activities.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve project delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate client onboarding, system implementation, user training and transition into ongoing technical support where required.

ICT Governance, Security and Documentation

  • Ensure ICT projects are delivered in accordance with PrevenX's technical standards, information-security requirements and project governance procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate consideration is given to system security, data protection, access control and technology risks throughout project implementation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, technical requirements, implementation records, risk registers, change records, testing records and completion reports.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ICT project-management methodologies, standards, templates and processes.
  • Support management in prioritising technology projects and planning future ICT project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering, Telecommunications, Engineering or another relevant discipline; and
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in ICT project management, technology project delivery or a closely related ICT environment.

Candidates with extensive relevant ICT project-management experience may also be considered where their professional experience demonstrates an equivalent level of capability.
