The Opportunity

To provide sales and marketing administrative assistance to the respective business unit commercial team’s to effectively execute their strategies in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with co-ordinating the development, approval, distribution and supply of demo equipment and sales collaterals. This includes liaison with external agencies and sales teams.
  • Processing marketing invoices and service contracts and reconciliation with finance.
  • Event co-ordination of both internal and external conferences including with health care professionals.
  • Assisting Product and Marketing /Group Managers with non-customer facing duties, equipment management.
  • Assisting business unit leaders with administrative tasks.
  • Testing and supporting the roll out of Sales and Marketing tools such as Sales force and Showpad.

Scope of Role

  • Will be required to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with internal cross functional teams, Sales teams, Suppliers and healthcare professionals.
  • Alleviate workload on broader marketing team, timely provision of materials to sales team and positive perception of Ethicon with healthcare professionals working in the respective therapeutic areas.
  • Supervision and coaching provided by Product Managers and Marketing Manager.

About You

Desirable:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Preferred area of study: science, pharmacy, healthcare, business or marketing
  • Preferred related industry experience: not required
  • The ability to effectively manage projects and events, from inception to post event follow up;
  • An extremely strong attention to detail;
  • Sound organisational and time management skills, with good task prioritization;
  • Problem solving skills and the desire to 'own and resolve' issues;
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills, with the desire to collaborate cross-functionally;
  • Ideally, someone at entry level with enough work experience to hit the ground running, someone methodical, a good communicator, quick to learn, and a self-starter; and
  • A high level of professionalism and commitment to the Johnson & Johnson Credo.
