Electrician - Tropical Port Douglas Queensland

BH Electrics is a busy, well-established electrical contracting business in Port Douglas, Tropical North Queensland - and we're after a licenced domestic, commerical electrician to join our crew full time.  If you're a Kiwi sparky who's thought about making the move across the ditch, this is about as easy as it gets, and the lifestyle's about as good as it gets.

We're a local family-owned outfit, nine years in with a solid team.  Our clients are genuinely mixed bag - reorts, pubs, builders, real estate agents, strata managers, hownowners, tourism spots and even the local barramundi farm.  No two days are the same and the work's steady all year round. 

You'll be servicing and maintaining a great spread of jobs across the 'Douglas region - a resort one day, a pub, a home or a commerical site. It's hands on, customer-facing service and maintenance work. Fault finding, repairs, installs and keeping our clients sites running. We trust you to rock up, sort the problem and leave a tidy job behind. With the backing a a well-run team, proper systems and a full stocked, maintaned work ute.

What we need from you; a NZ electrical licence and a willingness to get your Queensland licence sorted. A current drivers licence. Solid domestic and commerical experience - service, maintenance and fault finding across occuiped homes and businesses. This is the heart of the job. People skills as our clients are mostly repeat and you're the face of the business. 

$40 - $50 Aussie Dollars per hr + Super, negotiable on experience, a solid rate for steady, varied work. A tight, friendly team that will show you the ropes both inside and outside of the business. You live in Port Douglas, Reef on one side, rainforest on the other. Boat ramsp, barra, beaches, sunshine all year round.
