Seeking experienced Roofers with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation of long run iron roofing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring high standards of quality and safety on every job. Working alongside Project Manager to complete the day-to-day tasks for installing, roofing materials to the Metalhartt standard, complying with the building standards. Min Hrs 30hrs PW

Key Responsibilities:

Roof Installation: Install roofing systems and other materials according to specifications / guidance from Lead Hand

  • Roof Repairs & Maintenance: Capability to diagnose and repair roof leaks, damaged flashing, or other roof components. Perform roof inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to site safety procedures.
  • Material Handling: Properly handle and store roofing materials, ensuring they are used efficiently and safely.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Client Communication: Occasionally interact with clients where appropriate / pass onto Lead Hand.
  • Quality Control: Be aware and confident with your roofing work meets quality standards and complies with building regulations and codes.
