The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm.

You will report to the Team Coach and join our dynamic mobile service. You'll work alongside a supportive team of Support Workers, playing a key role in positively supporting people on their mental health journey. While experience in mental health is preferred, we also strongly value lived and life experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medication support and recovery-focused care.
  • Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
  • Empower independent daily living skills and goal achievement.
  • Foster positive community connections and strong foundations.
  • Work alongside Registered Health Professionals with a common purpose.
  • Manage your caseload with the support of a collaborative team.

You | Mōu

We're looking for passionate individuals who thrive on autonomy and value independence.

You will also have:

  • A current full NZ driver's licence.
  • A current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • The Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW), or a recognised equivalent — or be currently studying toward this qualification or equivalent.
