Autostar Limited, based in Christchurch, Canterbury, is a dedicated Motor Trade Association-assured motor vehicle body repair service provider known for reliable and efficient service. We specialise in fitting and replacing motor vehicle parts and accessories and maintaining vehicles in top condition. As our business grows, we are looking for THREE Panel Beaters to join our team. This is a full-time (30-45 hours per week), permanent-ongoing position.

- Hourly rate: $30-$35 per hour (commensurate with skills and experience)
- Hours: 30-45 hours per week, Monday to Satuarday

Job Accountabilities:
- Remove and replace damaged panels and components, ensuring a precise fit and finish.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to repair various vehicle makes and models.
- Perform metal and plastic repairs using a variety of techniques and tools. Work with paint technicians to ensure proper preparation and refinishing of repaired areas.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair guides.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and adhere to company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Panel Beater or in automotive collision repair OR
- A relevant formal qualification at NZQF or AQF Level 4 or above in Automotive Collision Repair or Automotive Refinishing
- Ability to competently carry out panel repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quality. Comprehensive industry knowledge and understanding. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented.
- Positive, self-motivated, and punctual. Eager to pursue personal development.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
