About the role

We are looking for an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead technology projects from initial discovery and planning through to implementation, go-live and ongoing support.

You will work closely with clients, developers, solution architects and external suppliers to define project requirements, establish delivery plans and ensure projects are completed to the agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.

This role suits someone who can combine structured project management with practical knowledge of software development and ICT delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage ICT and software projects throughout the complete delivery lifecycle
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements
  • Work with clients and technical teams to understand business and system requirements
  • Coordinate developers, solution architects, vendors and other project stakeholders
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and changes
  • Facilitate project meetings, planning sessions and delivery reviews
  • Provide clear progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support testing, user acceptance, deployment, training and handover activities
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and decision records
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and project outcomes

About you

You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing ICT, software development or digital transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and priorities
  • Excellent client, stakeholder and supplier management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to translate business requirements into practical delivery plans
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing project environment

Knowledge of cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure, system integration, APIs, mobile applications or IoT solutions would be advantageous.
