The Opportunity

Kirimana is looking for experienced Plumbers and Pipe Fitters for residential, commercial, industrial and mechanical projects across Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.

Our opportunities include apartment developments, retirement and residential villages, multi-unit developments, hotels, major construction projects and mechanical installations. We're looking for skilled tradespeople who can work confidently across different stages of a project, read plans accurately and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.

What We're Looking For

You'll work alongside experienced construction and mechanical teams installing, maintaining and fitting plumbing and piping systems across a range of project environments. You'll need to be confident using trade tools, working from drawings and completing installations safely and accurately.

  • Install, assemble and fit pipework, fittings, valves, fixtures and associated components
  • Install water supply, waste, sanitary, drainage and mechanical piping systems
  • Measure, cut, prepare, join and fit different types and sizes of pipe
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, layouts and measurements
  • Install brackets, hangers, supports and associated pipe support systems
  • Work across different stages of residential, commercial, industrial and mechanical projects
  • Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
 
For Plumbers: You'll need at least 4 years' relevant plumbing experience, a strong work history and references supporting your experience and standard of work.

For Pipe Fitters: You'll ideally have at least 2 years' relevant pipe fitting experience, with solid experience across piping systems, fittings and mechanical installations.
