We are looking for an experienced marketing specialist to join us and to manage the delivery of our key marketing initiatives. Wushu Development Trust is a charitable trust dedicated to promoting and developing Wushu, Taichi, Sanda and other Chinese martial arts in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We are looking for a marketing specialist to join us and to manage the delivery of our key marketing initiatives. You will have the opportunity to use your creative flair in designing and producing content and publishing it via communication channels, and be the first port of call for our marketing initiatives.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of $30–$35, depending on your experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- developing marketing initiatives to support the growth of business
- managing the planning, production and implementation of key brand and advertising initiatives
- creating, deploying and monitoring brand campaign to maximise the effects of brand awareness, lead generation, lead conversion and product marketing
- creating digital content integrated with brand stories and publishing them on Xiaohongshu, Facebook and other social platforms with a view to promoting the company's brand.
- using web and social media analytics platforms to measure success and provide recommendations for optimisation
- working with external agencies to build local awareness and facilitating the smooth execution of the events/campaigns
- Collaborating closely with business owners to organise sales leads and develop a report for monitoring, process improvement, and attaining business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, or digital content.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with InDesign and WordPress would be an advantage
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Experience with social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a remote team and external business partners.
