The Opportunity
We're looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join the high-performing team at Bassets Dairy. In this role, you'll assist with a range of farm tasks - from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing.
You'll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals.

Enjoy being part of a culture that values safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
About You
You'll bring a willingness to learn, get stuck in, and contribute to the team's success. Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience in a similar dairy farming role (or a strong interest in developing one)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with initiative and commitment to animal welfare and health & safety
- The ability to coach and support junior or new staff where required
- A current NZ restricted or full driver's licence
