In your role as Supply Officer, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a reliable supply service to a range of wards and clinical services across Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, Southern.
Key areas of focus will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Support and maintain the supply service across the organisation
- Liaising with departments to requisition and order catalogue and non-catalogue supplies and services
- Providing a comprehensive purchasing support function
- Providing an effective delivery and receipting service for supplies, services and equipment
- Completing duties of the Supply Officer in line with Southern policy around purchasing and supply
Hours of work will be 7am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- proficient skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications particularly Word and Excel
- the ability to pick up new computer systems and concepts quickly
- good literacy and numeracy skills
- confidence and the ability to work independently
- Experience or knowledge of the health sector would be advantageous.
We will provide you with full, on the job training - you won't be thrown in at the deep end!
