Hardware or Telecommunications Technician

RANGIORA MOBILES LIMITED is looking for a Hardware or Telecommunications Technician for the new mobile store in Karori, Wellington. Some of the duties would be:

• Repair Mobile phones both Hardware and Software
• Determining software and hardware requirements 
• Provide solutions to faults
• Repairing and replacing hardware components
• Adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments
• Installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware
• Installing, maintains and repairs telecommunications equipment
• Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems

Offered wage rate: $37 - $38 per hour (based on experience and skills)
Employment is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

You should have at least a Level 4 relevant qualification or at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Working on weekends and being available on calls are required for this position.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice check when required.
