3 in 1 Trading Ltd has a store called In and Out Supermarket and is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods and customer orders in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to road safety standards.

The role is permanent, full time with 30 hours guaranteed each week. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive company vehicles to deliver goods and customer orders to designated locations.
  • Load and unload stock and deliveries, ensuring items are handled with care.
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely drop-offs.
  • Check delivery dockets and orders against goods before dispatch to ensure accuracy.
  • Liaise with customers professionally at the point of delivery, resolving basic queries where needed.
  • Assist with in-store duties such as stock replenishment and unpacking deliveries when not on the road.
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Complete delivery logs and paperwork accurately.
  • Observe workplace health and safety regulations and procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Secondary school qualification (NCEA or equivalent) is essential.
  • A current, New Zealand driver's licence is essential.
  • A clean driving record and safe driving practices.
  • A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per roster.
  • Physical capacity to lift and carry goods and stand/move for extended periods.
