We are looking for two experienced Tattoo Artists to join our Auckland CBD and Takapuna studios. Permanent full-time positions, $28.00 per hour, with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. Applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant professional tattooing experience.

Tattoo Artist – 2 Positions

We are looking for two experienced Tattoo Artists to join our professional tattoo studios in Auckland CBD and Takapuna.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients about tattoo ideas, designs, size and placement.
  • Create and prepare custom tattoo designs according to client requirements.
  • Perform professional tattooing using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Prepare tattoo stencils and position designs correctly before tattooing.
  • Prepare and maintain clean and hygienic tattoo workstations.
  • Follow appropriate hygiene, infection prevention, and health and safety procedures.
  • Provide clients with appropriate tattoo aftercare information.
  • Maintain client and service records as required.
  • Work professionally with other artists and studio staff.
  • Work across our Auckland CBD and Takapuna studios according to roster and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional tattooing experience.
  • Good tattooing and design skills.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and infection prevention procedures.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Applicants should provide a CV and portfolio/examples of previous tattoo work.
