Are you a hands-on leader who loves the buzz of a busy salon? Doll face is a beauty salon in Upper Hutt, and we're looking for an experienced  Beauty Salon Manager to run the show.

This is a full-time, permanent role for someone who can keep the floor humming, the team motivated, and clients coming back.

About the role

Reporting to the director, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the salon — leading the team, managing stock and budgets, driving marketing, and making sure every client leaves happy. You'll set the standard for service and keep the business running profitably and compliantly.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading, rostering, training and supervising our team of technicians, therapists and support staff

  • Setting service standards and managing the salon's product and service mix

  • Overseeing stock, purchasing, supplier relationships and pricing

  • Handling budgeting, daily takings, records and financial reporting

  • Driving promotions, social media and client-retention activity

  • Advising clients on products and services, and resolving any concerns

  • Keeping the salon compliant with work health, safety, hygiene and licensing requirements

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience managing or supervising staff in a salon environment.

  • A relevant qualification (Diploma level or above), or at least three years' relevant experience

  • Strong leadership, organisation and customer-service skills

  • Solid knowledge of hair and/or beauty treatments, products and trends
