We are seeking experienced Truck Drivers who are safety-focused, approachable, and capable of handling pressure effectively. The start and finish of work will be in Hamilton, and the work will be throughout Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay and Wanganui. This is a full-time job with a minimum of 30 hours from Monday to Sunday as per roster.

Job Description for Truck Driver

  • Ability to operate company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Driving within the speed limit of 90 km/hr and wearing a seat belt while driving.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazardous conditions.
  • A sound understanding of Health and Safety and logbook requirements
  • Carry out routine checks of the truck.
  • Able to work on rotating shifts – day and night (24 × 7).

Job Requirements

  • Should have clean New Zealand driving licence Class 5 or equivalent international driver licence.
  • Knowledge of manual gearbox.
  • Must be physically fit.
  • May be required to drive on weekends and public holidays.
  • A positive attitude and a great work ethic.
  • Clean character background.

 

Salary can be negatiated as per your experience level between $29 to $35 per hour.
