We are a horticulture contracting business based in Bay of Plenty.

We have multiple vacancies for full-time Supervisors in the Bay of Plenty area.

These are full-time, permanent positions guaranteeing at least 30 hours of work per week, but you will usually work between 40 to 50 hours per week.  The pay rate is $28 to $30 per hour.

About the Roles

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

-        Monitoring and driving the output of their team

-        Working in a leadership position supervising sites and ensuring quality standards, performance standards and health & safety standards are maintained

-        Organising and coordinating materials and staff for sites

-        Undertaking administration with respect to staff on sites 

-        Reporting to management

-        Other related responsibilities

Requirements:

·        Tertiary qualification, ideally in agriculture/horticulture, but will also consider qualifications in other areas including, but not limited to, management/business/administration, leadership, etc., or at least 2 years’ relevant or transferrable experience.

·        Excellent knowledge of agricultural operations. (will be tested at interview)

·        Excellent knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations. (will be tested at interview)

·        Ability to communicate effectively to a multi-cultural team.

·        Willing to work evenings and on weekends.

·        Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

              Willing to complete random drug testing.
