About the Role

You are a compassionate and motivated Clinical Psychologist with experience in assessing and supporting people with mental health and addiction needs, ideally in a community setting. You work well within a multidisciplinary team, value culturally responsive practice, and build strong connections with individuals and whānau. You're adaptable, open to innovation, and keen to contribute to Te Mātāpuna o te Ora, our integrated model of care. Experience or interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is a welcome bonus.

About You

You are an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Clinical Psychologist who brings strong clinical skills in assessing and supporting people with mental health and addiction needs, ideally within a community setting. You value culturally responsive practice and understand the significance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, actively applying its principles in your work.

You communicate clearly, work well within multidisciplinary teams, and build positive, respectful relationships with people, whānau, and colleagues. You bring energy, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care aligned with a strengths-based, recovery-focused approach. You are adaptable, open to change, and keen to contribute to Te Mātāpuna o te Ora, our evolving integrated model of care. Experience or interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is desirable, and you take responsibility for your own wellbeing, professional growth, and high standards of practice.

About the Location

Located on the lower west coast of the North Island of New Zealand, Horowhenua stretches from the mountains to the sea.
