We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our established client to take a hands-on leadership role within their Structural Division. You'll be working on a range of projects including heavy industrial work. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the tools, leading from the front, and getting the best out of their team.
  
The Role
Working on site, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the structural team and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and managing the structural engineering team on site.
  • Directing the team and coordinating day-to-day activities.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and plans.
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and to specification.
  • Leading by example and maintaining a strong hands-on presence.
  • Managing team performance, productivity, and communication.
  • Working across a variety of heavy industrial plant and structural projects.
  • Supporting a positive, safe, and productive team culture.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude who takes pride in their work and enjoys leading a team.
  
You’ll ideally have:
  • Proven experience in a team leader, supervisor, or senior engineering role.
  • Strong experience managing and motivating people.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
  • Experience working within structural engineering, fabrication, heavy industry, or industrial plant environments.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to lead by example and earn the respect of your team.
