We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Auckland on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Company's day-to-day accounting and financial administration.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
We prefer a candidate who:
- Holds at least an NZQF Level 7 qualification in a relevant field, or has at least three years of relevant work experience.
- Is adaptable to change and able to manage multiple tasks while cooperating effectively with team members.
- Is able to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
- Has New Zealand residency or holds a valid New Zealand work visa.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Bookkeeper's duties and responsibilities will include:
- Verifying financial documents and records, including payments, sales, refunds, inventory records and bank statements.
- Accurately keeping and maintaining the Company's journals, including necessary reversal entries and standard journal entries, and entering these into the accounting system.
- Accurately preparing financial reports relating to sales, accounts receivable, purchases, accounts payable, inventory and other financial activities.
- Preparing and completing Inland Revenue GST and PAYE returns accurately and on time.
- Preparing and completing bank reconciliations.
- Correctly maintaining and filing invoices and other financial documents.
- Processing the Company's payroll.
- Assisting with the preparation of the Company's annual financial statements.
- Undertaking any other related duties as reasonably required by the Company.
