As a Excavator Operator, you will be working a minimum 30 hours to a maximum 50 hours per week on a roster.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project instructions.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to meet project goals.
Excavate and grade earth, rock, and other materials as required.
Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to maintenance staff.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


Suitable candidates should have:

·       At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the same or a related field, or a relevant NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above.

·        Having good knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.

·        Be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests should need to be.

·        Be physically fit.
