Support Worker

We're looking for a caring and dedicated Support Worker to support people with daily living skills and build meaningful connections in their communities.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Kirikiriroa Hamilton. You will be working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

In this role you will:

  • Be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills
  • Attending appointments and advocating for people
  • Might be assisting people to connect with their communities
  • Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping with everyday tasks

You must hold a current full New Zealand Driver Licence

You must hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one

Hold either the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent)

Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts

Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
