We are looking for a team leader to work alongside a great team in Auckland region. As a team leader, you will be responsible for the work carried out by your team. Duties may include planning workloads and delegating tasks to your team members. You may also be required sometimes to carry out practical laboring tasks alongside your team, day-to-day as per the requirements of the business.

As a Team Leader, your main duties include, but not limited to:

1) Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of traffic management crews and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.

2) Plans and schedules workloads, assigning duties to team members based on requirements and operational priorities

3) Monitors work progress against project schedules and budgets, ensuring tasks are completed within allocated timeframes and cost constraints

4) Conducts team briefings to communicate daily targets, operational updates, and company objectives

5) Evaluates team performance, provides feedback, and conducts staff appraisals to maintain productivity and quality standards.

6) Ensures all work is carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and enforcing compliance procedures.

7) Liaises with site managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve operational issues.

8) Oversees the quality of work performed, ensuring it meets required specifications standards, and regulatory requirements.

9) Maintains accurate records of site activities, workforce performance, and safety compliance documentation.

10) Identifies and resolves on-site challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and
maintaining project continuity.

11) Working on budgets and managing team finances effectively.

12) Checking and signing off work of the team members.

13) Working with management to attract new clients and follow marketing strategies.

14) Follow up with previous clients.

15) Supervising new and inexperienced workers if they are performing their job efficiently and on time.

This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 32 hours per week and the pay rate for this position will be 35.00 NZD per hour. To apply for this position, you must have either a
bachelors degree in any field or 2 years relevant experience working as STMS/Traffic
Controller or other similar experience.
