Yi Xi Trading is seeking competent retail manager to work with us in Auckland

You are required to work at least 30 hours per week, and have minimum 2-year relevant
work experience, or hold relevant recognized NZ diploma qualification 

We offer hourly wage rates ranging from Minimum $28 to maximum of $48
depending on your skill and/or relevant work experience

Your main tasks include:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Asian grocery supermarket to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.
  • Manage product selection, stock levels, ordering, inventory control and relationships with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement pricing, promotional and merchandising strategies to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales, expenses, cash flow and financial performance, and assist with budgeting and cost control.
  • Recruit, train, roster, supervise and manage approximately 9 staff members.
  • Monitor customer service standards and resolve customer complaints and operational issues.
  • Ensure the store complies with relevant health and safety, food handling, employment and retail requirements.
  • Maintain and review sales, inventory, purchasing and other operational records, and report business performance to the company directors.
