The Opportunity

A Product Specialist opportunity has become available within our Joint Reconstruction Team in NZ. Based in Christchurch, you will focus on selling and supporting our Hip & Knee joint replacement solutions including VELYS™, our innovative robotic and digital technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth & Market Share – Building strong clinical relationships, executing strategic account plans, and achieving sales targets by identifying opportunities to grow product adoption across assigned hospitals and territories
  • Provide Clinical Support & Product Expertise – Delivering high-quality operating theatre support, educating healthcare professionals on product use, and serving as a trusted clinical partner for surgeons and theatre teams
  • Lead Education & Training Initiatives – Developing and delivering customer training programs, in-service education sessions, and professional development activities that improve patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency
  • Build Strong Customer & Stakeholder Partnerships – Fostering long-term relationships with key clinical stakeholders, proactively resolving customer needs, and delivering exceptional service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate Across the Business & Champion Innovation – Working closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, introducing new technologies, sharing market insights, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' orthopaedic sales and territory management experience, specifically in Hip, Knee and/or Shoulder Arthroplasty
  • Strong commercial acumen, an understanding of the local orthopaedic market, and a proven track record of building long lasting strategic relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders, convey complex technical information, negotiate and influence decision makers
  • Passion for building strong effective relationships and driving commercial outcomes, and tenacity and enthusiasm with a true desire to understand and support customers
  • Highly organised with a strong team orientation, ability to think strategically and constructively challenges customers

This position requires frequent travel to hospitals within Christchurch. All applicants must have rights to work in New Zealand, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
