This is a rare opportunity to lead a nationally distributed team of talented engineers, project managers and technical specialists, while helping shape the future of one of New Zealand's most important infrastructure sectors.

As the leader of our NZ Water Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for growing capability, strengthening client relationships, supporting project delivery excellence and creating an environment where people can thrive. You'll work closely with leaders across our ANZ Water business and draw on the strength of Jacobs' local and global network to bring the best of our expertise, innovation and delivery capability to clients throughout New Zealand.

At Jacobs, you'll have the opportunity to influence not only the direction of our New Zealand business, but also contribute to broader ANZ and global initiatives that are helping address some of the world's most complex water challenges.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Strong experience delivering and growing water infrastructure services.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deep client relationships and a commitment to client success.
  • Commercial and operational leadership capability.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to connect people across regions, disciplines and geographies.
  • A passion for developing people and creating an inclusive team culture.

If you feel like you have what it takes, join Jacobs and contribute to a world where engineering solutions not only thrive, but set the benchmark for innovation.

With safety and flexibility always top of mind, we've gone beyond traditional ways of working so you have the support, means and space to maximize your potential. You'll uncover flexible working arrangements, benefits and opportunities, from well-being benefits to our global giving and volunteering program, to exploring new and inventive ways to help our clients make the world a better place. No matter what drives you, you'll discover how you can cultivate, nurture and achieve your goals – all at a single global company.

Cultural Support: Māori and Pasifika peoples are strongly encouraged to apply. Jacobs aims to provide cultural safety at our interviews. Māori and Pasifika people are invited to nominate a Whanau, family or cultural representative to participate on the interview panel; please let your recruiter know in your application.

We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery.
