We're looking for a senior React developer with proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise or government platforms. You'll build componentised, reusable UI on modern front-end architectures, working closely with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integrations, Jira-based agile delivery, and CI/CD pipelines.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our team delivering large-scale digital platforms for enterprise and government clients. This role suits someone who's comfortable working within structured governance, security, and accessibility requirements typical of public sector and regulated industries.

You'll design and build high-quality, componentised front-end solutions using React, working alongside solution architects, UX designers, and backend engineers. You'll integrate with content platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), contributing to component libraries that support content authors while maintaining clean separation between presentation and content management.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain scalable React applications following componentised, reusable architecture patterns
  • Collaborate with AEM developers/architects to integrate front-end components with AEM's content authoring model (headless or hybrid)
  • Participate in agile delivery using Jira - sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (build automation, testing, deployment)
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG), performance, and security standards are met - critical in government contexts
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring of junior developers
  • Work closely with architects and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions

Experience required

  • 5+ years front-end development, with strong depth in React (hooks, state management, component design)
  • Proven experience on large enterprise or government programs (compliance, governance, multi-stakeholder environments)
  • Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) - component development, HTL/Sightly, or headless AEM via AEM as a Cloud Service
  • Experience working in Jira-managed agile teams
  • Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and secure coding practices
  • Strong communication skills - comfortable working with architects, business stakeholders, and government clients
