We are looking for two intermediate level Sheetmetal Fabricators and installers who would like to further develop their abilities and take their skills to the next level of craftsmanship. At least three years of demonstrable experience in a related industry is required.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Fabricating and installing European style standing seam metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous material, lead, slate and shingles.
- Organising flashing orders lists for workshop fabrication for the site foreman
- Positionings parts and subassemblies
- Operating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machine
- Ensuring all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectful
- Conducting all interactions with colleagues and managers in an open and collaborative manner to facilitate the best outcome for all required tasks
- Attending staff meetings and training as required
- Contributing to the implementation of the Safety Management System and of the equipment inventory
- Travelling to the projects site, subject to H&S requirements
- Supervising junior staff if required
