Store manager required

This is a full-time permanent position.

Hours of work: Minimum 30 (Max 40) must be prepared to work in the

weekends and public holidays.

Trading Hours: Monday – Sunday 7.00am to 7.00pm (Work as rostered)

Place of Employment: Levin

Wages: Range from $32.00 - $35.00 an hour

Skills Required: Preferred applicant with a tertiary qualification to

understand an effective business operation or at least three years’ work

experience in retailing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing relationships and dealing with suppliers at all levels.

- Leading a team to meet targets and key performance indicators

- Developing and rolling out rosters.

- Management and ensuring in meeting budgets/targets on sales.

- Purchasing, marketing and ability to set pricing at

competitive rates.

- Maintaining financial records.

- Recruitment/training of staff, setting rosters, attending to

unforeseen incidents such as burglary, theft etc.

- Key competencies required for this position are:

- Delivering superior customer experience

- Being an excellent communicator who develops relationships

with all key stakeholders. Having an engaging and positive

attitude

- Comply with Council's health and safety requirements.
