This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3+ years' experience coordinating maintenance, construction or signage projects who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll take ownership of a varied mix of maintenance and minor works projects — coordinating clients, contractors and internal teams to keep everything moving from initial request through to completion.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate maintenance and minor works from request to completion, predominantly signage & joinery works.
  • Scope jobs, obtain quotes and coordinate contractors.
  • Track timelines, budgets, approvals and job progress.
  • Keep clients and internal teams updated throughout each project.
  • Manage records, reporting and administration.
  • Spot issues early and find practical solutions.
  • Coordinate multiple jobs at different stages, keeping everything on track.
  • Tracking H&S compliance and that contractors comply with council compliance and traffic management plans.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years' experience coordinating maintenance, construction, signage or similar projects.
  • Experience working with contractors, trades or suppliers (essential).
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety compliance in New Zealand.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confident verbal and written communication, with a natural ability to build relationships and comfortable communicating by phone.
  • Comfortable with quoting, invoicing and basic cost tracking.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to stay calm and organised when priorities change.
  • A good understanding of NZ geography and the ability to coordinate work nationwide.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is viewed favorably but is not essential.

Nice to Have

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety compliance in New Zealand.
  • Signage coordination or shop fit-out coordination experience.

The Details

  • Salary: $75K–$85K, depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Primarily office-based in West Auckland, with occasional client/site visits.
  • Some after-hours availability occasionally required Monday to Friday, with very occasional weekend on-call support.
  • A laptop and phone are provided.
  • Full NZ driver's license and own vehicle required for occasional site visits; mileage reimbursed.
