Join a well-established Waikato civil contractor in a senior role overseeing multiple drainage crews and Foremen across a range of projects.
This is an opportunity to move beyond running a single crew and take a broader leadership role — providing technical guidance, mentoring Foremen, solving problems and helping drive productivity, quality and better ways of working across the Drainage Division.
The Role
Working closely with Contract Managers, you’ll help plan and deliver upcoming works while supporting crews across:

Stormwater, wastewater and water reticulation

Multiple projects and drainage crews
-
People, plant and material coordination
-
Technical problem-solving and site support
-
Productivity, quality and programme delivery
-
Foreman mentoring and team development
-
Health & Safety and QA standards
-
Improving systems, construction methods and work practices
About You
You may already be a Drainage Supervisor, or an experienced Senior Drainage Foreman ready for the next step.
You’ll bring:

Strong drainage and civil construction experience
-
Solid knowledge of stormwater, wastewater and water reticulation
-
Proven crew leadership and supervisory experience
-
Strong technical and practical problem-solving skills
-
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
-
Good planning, organisation and communication skills
-
A strong focus on Health & Safety and quality
-
Confidence working with crews, Foremen, managers, clients and subcontractors
-
Relevant civil qualification or trade background is advantageous
-
Full NZ Driver Licence
