Carpenters

About Us

ASC Homes is a growing construction company specialising in residential building projects. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Carpenters to join our team.

Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 55 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• ·       Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications
• ·       Measure, mark, cut and shape timber and other building materials
• ·       Construct, install and repair timber structures and components
• ·       Install wall frames, floor joists, roof structures, doors, windows, stairs and other building elements
• ·       Perform general carpentry work for residential construction projects
• ·       Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• ·       Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required quality and building standards
• ·       Work closely with other trades and construction team members to complete projects on time
• ·       Maintain a safe and clean work environment and comply with workplace health and safety requirements

Requirements:

• ·       At least 2 years of relevant work experience in construction field; or
• ·       Level 4 or above qualification, no major restrictions
• ·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• ·       Ability to read and understand building plans and specifications
• ·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ·       Good physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites
• ·       Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced construction environment
